Maybe size up?
These are very well done and the fit is good but maybe a bit snug in your normal size. Cotton pant so they do "tighten up" after a wash (not like a permanent shrink) so rather than have them altered (which you totally can like a dress pant) I just went up a size and washed them hot/tumble dry. Basically perfect that way! They age well too. Mine have been washed a dozen times and are like butter to wear. Knife pocket is clutch as well!
