Each Ball and Buck Signature Scrambler begins with an original Jeep CJ-8 that was first introduced in 1981 and produced in very limited numbers through 1986. We source these original vehicles and begin their full frame-off restoration process, incorporating modern technology that improves drivability, functionality, and comfort while maintaining the original appearance. These reimagined Jeeps are hand-crafted by Kyle Smith of Bird Buggy and incorporate the latest trail-tested overland products.
