The Hatchery is our crowdfunding platform designed to give us the ability to hear your thoughts and bring new and innovative products to market much faster than before.
How does it work?
We’ve taken your feedback on products you’ve always wanted and release them in the Hatchery for you to fund. Customers then have 30 days to fund and invest in these products. Products that reach their funding goal are manufactured and delivered. Simple as that.
Why should I participate?
By participating in the Hatchery, you get to help bring new Ball and Buck designs to life. It’s our chance to take some risks, try out new styles and silhouettes, and take all of the incredible customer feedback we get and turn it into something y’all can get. You also get to lock in at an investor pricing that averages more than 20%. There is a chance that products sell out while in the crowd funding period as well, so participating can guarantee that you get your size or item in a limited production style.
How long is the funding period
Each Hatchery item has a funding timeline directly on the product page. Check out each product and their funding timelines above.
How long does it take to deliver products?
With every Hatchery product, we include an estimated shipping date. Generally this is within a few months. However, this is manufacturing and at times we may be able to speed thru the production lines or hit a few speed bumps forcing us miss our target delivery date. Rest assured, we’ll always keep you updated along the way and share progress of the items being manufactured.
When am I actually billed?
We’ll charge your card upon checkout.
What happens if the product doesn’t reach its funding goal?
Products almost always meet their funding goal. In the rare event that a Hatchery product does not, we’ll be in touch and let you know if we decide to make the products anyways or provide you with a full refund.
Are there any returns or exchanges on goods coming from the Hatchery?
Due to the limited and funding nature of these products we are not able to offer returns or exchanges.
Will changes be made to my product during production?
It’s possible. Based on availability of materials, trims, and quality control during manufacturing, we reserve the right to make changes to the appearance of the item or if we determine that the quality of an alternate material is superior.
I really love a certain product, can i invest more so it gets funded?
